Charitable Causes Auction

The Corporate Relocation Council (CRC) of Chicago hosted their annual meeting and Charitable Causes Auction on February 13th. This year's venue was the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center and it was beautiful even if it was only 10 degrees in Chicago! The program included the choice of attending a domestic or international track and each offered three different topics. Some of the topics included: The Power of Cultural Awareness; The Journey of an International Household Goods Shipment; and Mortgage and Closing Services Update to name a few.

While the sessions were excellent the auction stole the show. The auction items were beautiful, relevant and abundant. Paxton donated a spa package that included everyone's favorite Jo Malone perfume - just in time for Valentine's Day! Paxton's own Maureen Longoria won the grand prize of the day - a free registration for a 2014 ERC Conference. No doubt that will come in handy. CRC raised more than $11K for their charitable causes. While everyone in Chicago may have been freezing they certainly weren't cold hearted when it came to donating to a great cause.
