Paxton Visits the Baghdad International Fair

Staff from Paxton International Baghdad took part in the 39th annual Baghdad International Trade Fair this week - a major event for businesses in Iraq. The event offered an opportunity for organizations working in Iraq to connect with one another to source products and services. The fair featured a USA Pavilion showcasing US companies and organizations currently working in Iraq or partnering with Iraqi businesses. According to the National US- Arab Chamber of Commerce Iraq is forecasted to become the fourth largest destination for US goods and services in the Arab world and is expected to move up to the third largest by the year 2015.

This year’s event featured remarks by the Honorable Robert Stephen Beecroft - U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq- a recent Paxton International client. Paxton International is no stranger to the market and has been active in Iraq since 2003 operating from facilities in Baghdad and Erbil both offering a full complement of transportation, relocation and storage solutions.
