Full Court Press on Hunger

Tuesday, 20 November 2012

Michael Jordan, Charlotte Bobcats President and CEO, Fred Whitfield, and the Lady Cats help hand out bags of food as Bobcats Sports & Entertainment and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina partnered to distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to under-served families at Time Warner Cable Arena, Tuesday morning November 12, 2012.

Each meal feeds a family of four and includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, string beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, sweet potato pie and a two-liter bottle of Minute Maid Lemonade. Bobcats sponsor Coca-Cola provided the drinks, while Bobcats sponsor Paxton Van Lines provided the trucks to transfer food from Second Harvest Food Bank to Time Warner Cable Arena.
