Paxton Hosts LAPD Honor Platoon for Police Week

Washington, DC. On Friday May 15th the operations staff of Paxton Van Lines had the distinct privilege of providing logistics support to the Los Angeles Police Department motorized Honor Platoon, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who were in Washington D.C. to participate in the 2015 National Police week activities. Officer Eric Ortiz, of Ortiz Brothers Moving & Storage/Atlas, Officer Jon Aufdemberg of the LAPD, and Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Joseph A. Rosalez led a group of 24 officers of the LAPD Honor Platoon to the Paxton Corporate facility.

Rick Allison, General Manager at Paxton shared the pride by our employees to be selected for providing this service to the community on behalf of the individuals of the Honor Platoon, and for staging and logistics preparation at our facility for the transportation of the Honor Platoon vehicles returning to Los Angeles. "I speak for all Paxton employees in thanking these dedicated officers for their consistent dedication to public safety," said Allison as they concluded the weeks activities supporting this event.
